Our primary school students explored what it means to be an engineer. Their curiosity led them to ask some truly inspiring questions... questions that they sent directly to MIT. We are thrilled to share that we received a response!
Abby, our MIT correspondent, shared exciting news:
“The first Ask MIT video of the 2025–2026 school year is actually a suite of short videos inspired by the questions submitted by Helena, Jeremy, and Noah! You can find all six videos linked below. We will also be posting the shorts on our Instagram, @mit_nae, throughout the month of September. We hope you will continue to submit questions via BeCurious.mit.edu!”
The first video features Nicole McGaa, a second-year graduate student at MIT Aero Astro. She is studying space physiology and took the time to answer our students’ questions.
Here are the videos inspired by our students:
We are incredibly proud of Helena, Jeremy, and Noah for representing our school and sparking curiosity at a global level. Their questions, and MIT’s thoughtful answers, show just how far a child’s curiosity can go.
Stay tuned as our students continue to engage with
MIT, and don’t forget to check out
