Arina has been teaching English as an Additional Language since 2017. She has a strong passion for helping students of diverse backgrounds thrive. If you talk to her students, they will say that EAL is a fun and exciting place to be. Arina recognises that students learn best when they are fully immersed in the material, so she plans interactive lessons that tap into her students' curiosity and make English come alive.
Arina understands that each student who comes to her class has unique abilities, strengths and passions. She creates an inclusive, student-centered learning environment where children feel valued, respected, and empowered to learn. Communicating, helping and truly engaging her students in an exciting and comfortable way is her main focus during lessons, as she values making personal connections with students.
Arina's teaching philosophies are rooted in scaffolding and providing the individual support each child requires to grow their English proficiency and confidence.
Growing up travelling around America, she developed a love for interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. When not teaching, Arina loves to travel and broaden her horizons. She also enjoys aerial gymnastics, painting, and trying new sports whenever she can.

Bachelor's Degree with Honours in foreign language and language teaching methods, Saratov State University
