When did you join St Andrews Bangkok?
I joined in Year 10 during the distance learning period, when everything was online. When I finally got to attend school in person, everyone was incredibly welcoming. I felt like I was integrated into the school community very smoothly, and my year group made me feel right at home.

How has being part of the St Andrews community shaped your perspective?
I moved to Thailand from England in 2019, and to be honest, before then, I probably couldn’t have even found Thailand on a map. Attending an international school like St Andrews has been an amazing experience. I’ve had the chance to meet people from all over the world, and now I have friends in so many different countries. It’s been truly invaluable.

What was your favourite activity or class?
I played water polo, and to this day, I think we’re the team that’s never lost a game! I joined without knowing much about the sport, but the coach was incredibly supportive and taught me everything I needed to know. The team was also very friendly and encouraging, which made the whole experience even better.

How did the IBDP prepare you for the future?
The internal assessments in my IB subjects really gave me the chance to showcase my skills. It was a bit daunting at first, but I managed to push through and ended up producing work I’m proud of. The program helped me build resilience and confidence in my abilities.

What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to study Aerospace Engineering at the University of Nottingham. After that, I hope to join the Royal Air Force as a frontline fighter pilot.

Share an unforgettable memory from St Andrews Bangkok.
My favourite memories are bonding with my year group during residential trips and Spirit Week. Those experiences brought us closer together and created memories that I’ll always cherish. It’s something not every school offers, and I’m grateful for that.
